Hooked On Laughter at The Royal Hippodrome TheatreOne of the stars of this years extremely popular variety show at The Royal Hippodrome in Eastbourne is Steve Hewlett.Steve is one of the most talented and respected ventriloquists in the world. What better trailer can you get of this man’s talent than the video on the left? This footage was taken when Steve lent his support to The Friends Of The Devonshire Park Theatre Summer Garden party in AugustIt is a long season at the Royal Hippodrome, but I’d advise booking early as shows regularly sell out.If you enjoy this little teaser there is more footage of Steve on The Devonshire Park Theatre Page (InEastbourne TheatresSection) There is also an image gallery of the talented ventriloquist in the images pages. The Congress Theatre, Eastbourne looks a little different whilst building works are undertaken. Click the image to enlarge. Artistic director, Chris Jordan and Eastbourne Council should be congratulated on this temporary frontage. The “mesh wall” depicting shows which have played at Eastbourne’s Theatres is particularly clever and worth a closer look.
